Rio de Janeiro - A Busy Area With A Impressive Natural Effect
Rio de Janeiro appeals to people all over the world thanks to its world-renowned beautiful beaches and a partying state of mind. These are just a couple of the reasons Rio de Janeiro, also known only as "Rio," is a top vacation spot. Famous for the Carnival, one of the world's largest and craziest parties, Rio also features some absolutely breathtaking landscapes. If a trip to Rio is on your agenda, be sure to get a passport plenty of time in advance. Go online to get a passport fast without the stress.
Online passport processing is a great alternative to the traditional way to get a passport. They can also help you get a replacement pasport, a passport renewal, and several other services, and all you have to do is complete the forms and submit. The best part is being able to choose when your passport arrives with their expedited delivery options. For example, if you wanted to take a last-minute trip to Rio at the end of the week, you can apply for your passport that day and have it in time for your trip.
One of the most recognizable symbols of Rio de Janeiro is the statue of Cristo Redentor. Recognized as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, this statue stands at 130 feet tall and is an absolutely breathtaking sight to behold. Located atop Corcovado mountain, it is regarded as an attraction in Rio that you cannot miss. The train ride to the top is fun, as you get to see some pretty spectacular views. Nothing beats the view from the top however, with the clouds floating by beneath you over the entire city.
If you are looking to experience something similar to Corcovado, head to Sugarloaf Mountain. Sticking right out into the Atlantic Ocean, this strange looking mountain is another great place for beautiful views. Similarly to Corcovado, taking the glass-paneled cable car ride to the top is fun and provides eye-opening 360 degree views of the city. Try to get there right before sunset to witness the sun setting behind the Cristo Redentor.
You can't mention Rio without mentioning the beaches, Ipanema Beach in particular. Not only can you buy tasty drinks and handmade crafts sitting by the water, but you can visit the line of restaurants and boutiques along the beach as well. This is also a great spot for those looking to live the nightlife in Rio. There is no shortage of bars, clubs, and restaurants to visit. If you're looking for another beautiful beach, head to Copacabana.
Another highly recommended attraction is the Botanical Garden. If you need to get away from the hectic city life for a bit, this is the perfect place. Huge collections of exotic tropical flowers and tall shady trees provide tranquility as well as shade. Be sure to watch out for the monkeys and toucans who live in the gardens also.
If you are looking a place to spend all day on the beach and all night partying, head to Rio. The stunning mansions, beautifully maintained parks, the huge selection of museums, and Carnival (which usually takes place in February) are all worth checking out. Don't forget that you will need to get a passport fast. Go online and check out the variety of services available there, such as how tot get a replacement US passport and more.
