Stewardess Costumes -The Exciting Costume For Halloween Night

ABC’s new TV series this fall, Pan Am, has really been receiving super reviews. With as much as 11 Million viewers throughout its very first episode in the U.S.A., and with only a few weeks left until Halloween night, lots of women are inspired to attend Halloween parties in a stewardess dress-up costume.

The neat part about this Halloween outfit is that it doesn’t require as much make-up or clothes as other Halloween outfits. In addition, choosing to wear a stewardess outfit would totally capture lots of attention
at a party without being too frightening or too weird.

Stewardess outfits are very beautiful thanks to the 3 main parts of the outfit. Their basic outfit, which typically comprises a skirt and a top, a neck scarf, and their signature hat.

Now for the accessories, the scarf is typically made of sheer silk and is fairly thinner and shorter than scarves worn during cold weather. These lovely scarves also typically have a vibrant color such as red, blue, and so on.

Whatever the color may be, the scarf commonly goes well with the overall theme of the outfit. The signature hat on the other hand may be a little more hard to find in a woman’s wardrobe. These can be easily purchased from the closest department store and typically go with the color of the outfit as well. It really depends on the particular person whether she wants these accessories to match the color of the outfit or have them in contrast with one another.

An truly important and typically forgotten accessory is the stewardess “wings” pin. In the Pan-Am show, Christina Ricci alongside her stewardess co-workers are always seen wearing these unique pins, which was a standard for stewardesses during those times. Having this pin is important in trying to bring back the 1960s era of stewardesses.

Another very important stewardess Halloween costume detail is the hair and make-up. Stewardesses are very well known to be very immaculate and orderly when it comes to their looks. Although the 60s are very well known for voluminous or “bouffant” hair, a simple ponytail and buns can work just as well. As for the make-up, a simple red lipstick can do the trick even without eye shadow and nominal blush. What’s important is to keep the neatness and maintain the subtlety of becoming a stewardess.

Thanks to the Pan Am TV series the stewardess dress-up costume will most likely be very popular again this Halloween eve. Now all a woman needs is to have the right 60s strength as portrayed by Christina Ricci and the rest of the cast.

This is your Halloween to fly the deep blue skies this Halloween 2011. Explore the ultimate stewardess costume right here now Visit us for your flight attendant costume while you still have lots of time.
